Innomentarium’s premiere event in Finland was in Tampere

Innomentarium presented its operations at the Sädeturvapäivät Days arranged in Tampere on 30–31.10.2014. The Sädeturvapäivät Days are the most important national convention and supplementary education event for medical radiation users. The days are arranged by the Radiological Society of Finland (SRY) and Säteilyturvakeskus (STUK) (center for radiation safety) together with the Finnish Association of Medical Physicists and Radiographers’ association of Finland. Innomentarium took part in the Sädeturvapäivät Days for the first time.

“This was the first time we presented ourselves on such a large scale to radiography professionals in Finland. The situation made us nervous, as a premiere event should, but we were truly warmly and well received,” says Innomentarium’s managing director Jouni Ihme.

Innomentarium presented its operations as well as its current product repertoire. The stand showcased the smallest gamma camera on the market, an easily installed digital radiography workstation, and a 3D rapid prototyping unit for medical surgical models.

“We want to operate in the market particularly as an expert in special fields—not as a retailer or dealer of high-volume products. Therefore our operating idea is to import to Finland products which cannot be found yet on the Finnish market. We look for such products upon the request of our customers and also in collaboration with them. This role fits a small company like Innomentarium well,” explains Innomentarium’s sales director Matti Olsen, referring to the company’s current product repertoire.

There were plenty of visitors at Innomentarium’s stand, and the small gamma camera, in particular, awakened much interest. The hosts at Innomentarium’s stand at the Sädeturvapäivät Days were sales director Olsen and managing director Ihme. We also had a guest star from Germany, Holger Schenk, who presented Roesys’s direct radiography unit.
