Innomentarium took part the second time in the Radiation Safety Days arranged in Tampere on October 29–30, 2015. The Radiation Safety Days are the most important nationwide meeting and continuing education event for users of medical radiation. The days are arranged by the Radiological Society of Finland (SRY) and the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK) in collaboration with the Finnish Association of Medical Physicists and the Society of Radiographers in Finland.
“Innomentarium’s representatives were again present at the Radiation Safety Days in Tampere, forming networks with Finnish professionals in the field of imaging. The event’s exhibit is one of Finland’s most significant in the sector, where it is truly possible to see what is new and topical at the moment! That’s why we feel it is important to participate in the event. Like last year, the atmosphere at the event was really great”, says Innomentarium’s CEO Jouni Ihme.
Innomentarium presented its current product repertoire and its operation in general at the event. Among other things Innomentarium’s stand showcased a 3D rapid prototyping device for medical 3D printing for surgical use, the smallest gamma camera on the market, and an easily installed direct digital X-ray device. Innomentarium’s Director in Sales & Marketing, Matti Olsen, says the event was busy and Innomentarium’s participation was a success.
“There were plenty of visitors at Innomentarium’s stand. This year our 3D rapid prototyping device, meant particularly for medical 3D printing for surgical use, sparked interest among the event’s visitors. By networking we were able to meet many interesting new contacts, and I feel our participation was again a success,” Olsen says.
The next Radiation Safety Days will be arranged at the Tampere House on November 2–3, 2017. More information about the event at:
